Prayer is a conversation with God. It is the act of setting aside our thoughts, concerns, and emotions to focus on His presence. When we pray, our hearts and minds are aligned with God’s. He transforms our desires and motivates us to be involved in His work.
Evangelism is powerless without prayer. Listening to God’s voice through prayer increases our sensitivity to His Spirit and places us in the midst of His work.
Prayer invites the presence of God to work among us. If we want others to come to know Him, we must ask God to prepare their hearts for His message and to make His character known to them through us. Prayer prepares the way for the message of Jesus Christ to change hearts!
