The work of the evangelist is not only to win converts to Christ but also to make disciples. Though we can quickly lead others to accept God’s gift of salvation, training new believers to follow Christ daily is a long- term commitment.
A disciple is one who imitates his master.
The multiplied influence of one disciple may not be known until we reach heaven.
