Bettie Blauser was raised with 5 siblings and learned to cook while still young. Watching both her parents cook, put the idea into her head that this was something she wanted to do. As she grew up, she learned various ways to cook, including cooking for her girl scout troop and on the trail while backpacking. As she grew older, she discovered the importance of comfort food. A "meat and potatoes" girl, she expanded her repertoire to include vegetables. Discovering her love for them also.
