God loves you because He loves you, because He loves you! In fact, He loves you and I so much, that the Bible says in John 3:16 (MSG) “This is how much God loved the world: He gave his Son, his one and only Son. And this is why: so that no one need be destroyed; by believing in him, anyone can have a whole and lasting life.” The Bible also says in Romans 3:23 (NLT) “For all have sinned; all fall short of God’s glorious standard.” In other words, we have all missed the mark of God’s glorious standard. But the Bible doesn’t stop there. In 1 John 1:9 – 10 (NLT) the Bible says, “But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us and to cleanse us from every wrong. If we claim we have not sinned, we are calling God a liar and showing that his word has no place in our hearts.” If you have never invited Jesus to be your Lord and Savior, I invite you to do so right now. Let me encourage you with this -- because we are not promised tomorrow, no one can know that you will ever have another opportunity like this one again. Please do not allow this moment to pass you by. Open your heart and allow God to change your life -- today! The Bible promises that when you pray a prayer like the one written here from your heart, you will experience a new life in Christ. Simply read it aloud and mean it from your heart. Say: “Father, I come to You just as I am. I realize there is nothing that I can do to earn salvation. I am not able work my way into a right relationship with You. The Bible says that we are saved by grace through faith as a gift from You. I admit that I have sinned against You and others. Father, I ask You to forgive me and wash me clean with the precious, life-giving blood of Jesus Christ, Your Son. I believe that Jesus died for me -- He took my sin upon Himself and died on the cross for me. I believe that Jesus was raised from the dead, giving me power over the enemy of my soul, satan. Jesus, I invite You to come live inside of me. I don't understand everything about being a Christian but I welcome You into my life to help me learn daily how You have designed me to live. Thank You, Father, for Your gift of restoration and eternal life. I am so grateful for Your love and mercy.
