Can you remember what happened to you 40 days ago? Surely you would remember if God spoke to you out of cloud and smoke on a burning mountain, yet within that same period of time Israel went from affirming their obedience to God to creating an idol to worship.
We are made of the same stuff as these people. Like them, we can only stand in Jesus' righteousness through His blood shed for us.
