Heard today that the Ascot festival later this month could be under threat as it is in an exclusion zone to foot and mouth.The BHB should start making plans for the fixture to be held elsewhere if the worst should happen.
Newmarket would be the obvious candidate but that might be in the zone too.
Newbury might be ok but could be to close to Ascot.
So you could be looking somewhere in the north like York, Doncaster or Haydock.
