A Testimony from Tallinn

Dear Friends,

I would like to share a brief testimony about the meeting in Tallinn. For me personally, my presence alone was a miracle, and I believe the result of prayer, also the prayers of your team. For a long time I was not sure, if I should attend the meeting or not. In the natural I understood that the meeting was important, but I didn’t believe that I could be present. Therefore I did not have peace. There was also the issue of both time and money.

Something interesting happened though. Two weeks before the ICCC Leadership Workshop, on a Thursday evening, after prayer, I felt a peace in my heart. I did not want to question it, in my spirit I now knew. I bought tickets and planned my journey. I was convinced that God worked through the prayers of the group.

What happened in Tallinn? What has God taught us and what do I want to happen in the Ukraine?
Very briefly, I think of one important aspect. At the very beginning Fredrik Ekholm shared a scripture:

“For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is un seen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.” 2 Cor. 4:17-18.

The whole meeting, the sharing and the prayers were focused on His Kingdom. This is what I want to happen also in the Ukraine. Not to be obsessed with our temporary problems but on Him and His Kingdom. Never before had I understood the importance of God’s Kingdom becoming manifest on an international level through business and other contacts, etc., as what I now saw in Tallinn.

I would like to encourage every one of us. The prayer of a small group in my home country was leading me to the visit in Tallinn. This has now become the starting point for a very important understanding, which could lead to future initiatives. Surely I don’t know what will happen tomorrow, but I went back home with the experience of how God’s name had been adored, and this was all important.

Blessings, Viacheslav
